I am the middle daughter of Dr. Hector and Wanda Garcia. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Tx, I was fortunate to work for my father in his office for 10 years prior to completing my physical therapy education at UTMB Galveston. I continue to practice in Home Health Settings for Geriatric Rehabilitation. I established a non-profit organization The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation, that currently has 10 distinguished board members. The foundation has established over $400,000. in scholarships and funding for indigent care services at Christus Spohn. i authored my first book The Inspiring Life of Texan Hector P. Garcia in 2016 and presented at The Library of Congress that same year. We have impacted over 6000 lives with the sale of my book, and I continue to lecture throughout Texas and other states about my book.
